Let's gather the local long dogs for Geelong's first Great Global Greyhound Walk! Meet at Balyang Sanctuary carpark near the Geelong Canoe Club before 10am and walk with us to Sweet Adeline on The Grange & back again. We're hoping to smash some global records, all in the name of raising awareness for greyhounds as pets!
The theme for this year’s Great Global Greyhound Walk (GGGW) is ‘Love’ 💛💛
All sighthounds are welcome and will be included in the count – including greyhounds, whippets, italian greyhounds, lurchers, deerhounds, salukis, borzoi, wolfhounds, podencos, galgos, afghan hounds etc.
Your dog must be on leash at all times, and please scoop their poop 💩
For safety, please do not use extendable leads (or keep on a short lock) and avoid bringing reactive dogs unless muzzled (or keep separate). Please be mindful to share the walkways as members of the public will also be using the path.
