GEEK GALA - 5th Annual Benefit Formal

Dust off your gowns, crowns, masks, and tuxedos... it's Super Ladies Foundation's 5th annual benefit gala! Join us for a fantastical night of music, dancing, libations, raffles and more to raise money for superheroes using their powers for good~

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Join us at the LUXURIOUSLY GLAM Layalina Restaurant and Lounge to enter a world of fantasy! Upon arrival, show your ticket confirmation and ID to our friendly greeter to receive your wristband (skip the line if you choose one of our limited VIP packages). Be met inside by a professional photographer to take your picture against one of AZPM Photoshoot and Networking's beautiful backdrops before heading to the cash bar or right out to the dance floor. Enjoy delectable appetizers made by on-site chefs all night or book a VIP ticket to enjoy gourmet table service! Looking for a piece of Geek Gala to take home with you? Purchase a raffle ticket for any of our generously donated gift baskets! Close down the party with us at midnight and enjoy an easy drive home from the 101 or 17.

Super Ladies Foundation wants to make our half-decade event full of unforgettable experiences, so we're going bigger and better all without raising our ticket prices. Here are some exciting additions you can expect...

-VIP afterparty: all VIPs this year get exclusive access to the Layalina patio from midnight to 2 AM for a late night soiree featuring live entertainment!

-Renaissance and Regency Dance Lessons: have you always wanted to attend a social media-viral fantasy ball, but don't have $200 to spend on a ticket? Well, we're bringing the ball to you at Geek Gala prices! This year we will have a special guest teacher kick off the evening with a historical partner dance (no romance required) so you can live your ballroom dreams.

-Largest Raffle Item Yet: we can't spoil the surprise just yet, but follow @Geek.Gala on Instagram to be the first to know what (hint) MAGIC is to come!

-Signature Themed Drinks: This year our event coordinators will be working closely with bartenders to have a selection of three themed drinks matched to the taste and aesthetic of the gala. If you aren't a cocktail enthusiast, don't worry; beer, wine, water, and soft drinks will all still be available as well.

-Song Request Fundraiser: this year there will be a song request fundraising game. All song requests will cost $5 donation, however, song skip requests will be $20. Tired of Mambo No. 5 or Taylor Swift? Put your money where your mouth is! At the end of the night, all proceeds will be split between the DJ and SLF. Cash only.

WHAT TO WEAR:

This year we present to you A NIGHT OF FANTASY! One of the oldest genres of fiction, popular from the classics of Tolkien to the modern indulgence of TikTok romantasy. Elegant elves, fearless knights, dungeon-delving adventurers, and more abound! If you're really proud of your creativity, consider entering our costume contest!

Some sample IPs that may inspire you include Lord of the Rings, ACOTAR, Baldur's Gate, The Witcher, Disney princesses, Fourth Wing, Game of Thrones, Dungeons&Dragons/Critical Role, Legend of Zelda, Elder Scrolls, Castlevania, Wheel of Time, Discworld, and so much more!

WHAT IS INCLUDED:

One standard ticket includes entry to the gala, entertainment by a professional DJ, Middle Eastern style finger food, and downloadable photo op ($25 early bird for the month of September, $30 online in advance, $35 cash at the door).

One VIP ticket includes skip-the-line entry to the gala, reserved seating, table service appetizers, welcome bag of merch and goodies, and the very first Geek Gala afterparty($60 online only)!

Gratuity is not included. Please tip your bartender at the cash bar!
