This February, we invite you to step into the pages of your beloved books, adorning yourself as your favorite literary character. Immerse in a realm where themed competitions and activities are inspired by the cherished narratives from our favorite novels.

Do I Need a Ticket? Not at all – entry is as open as a book on a cozy afternoon.

Is the Event Free? Absolutely! Our Geek and Grub Markets welcome all, free of charge.

Event Location? Nestled in Fred Fletcher Park in Downtown Raleigh, at the literary landmark of 820 Clay Street.

Parking Arrangements? Limited parking is available in two quaint lots – one on Clay Street, another on Washington Street. We advise arriving early, much like one does for a much-anticipated book release. Alternatively, street parking off Washington Street is an option should the lots be full.

Food and Beverages? Delight in an array of food trucks and vendors, and visit our Geek Tavern for special geek-themed non-alcoholic mocktails. Please note, this event remains a sober narrative – no alcohol is served.

The Free Raffle: With every vendor purchase, receive a raffle ticket. These tickets can be turned in at the HQ desk for a chance to win delightful prizes. Raffle drawings are at 12:30pm and 2:30pm, and your presence is required to claim your prize, much like attending a book signing.

Scavenger Hunt Participation: Our Geek & Grub Scavenger Hunt is akin to a literary adventure, enjoyable for the entire family. Upon arrival, download our app and engage in vendor booth missions. Completing the Scavenger Hunt earns you a spin on our prize wheel.
