The WRCC is collaborating with the Girl Coalition of Indiana (GCoIndiana) to provide a Stand Night in June going over bicycle safety, to include reviewing a pre-ride bicycle checklist and tips for road & trail riding in the Greater Lafayette area!Young ladies who register with GCoIndiana by June 14th and attend the event will receive a bicycle, helmet, lock, tire pump, and t-shirt.
While the content will be geared towards a younger audience, this event is open to the public, including WRCC members. Performing a pre-ride check to ensure your bicycle is in working order is a vital first step to ensuring you have an enjoyable and safe ride. We encourage any and every one to attend this event. More Stand Night content to come this summer; keep an eye out for emails and social media posts.
Snacks and beverages will be provided. We encourage ride leaders to start or end their Saturday rides from Bauer if your weekend plans allow it.
