Hey game devs and metalheads! If you fall into the incredibly small Venn diagram cross section of "game developers who also listen to metal", this event is for you!
The GDC Metal Meet returns in 2025 for it's third year, so we can all make some Industry friends who share a passion for metal music.
From Metallica to Municipal Waste, Archspire to Arch Enemy, Kublai Khan to Kreator... death, sludge, doom, thrash, hardcore, beatdown, punk, grind, crust, black, metalcore, deathcore-- all subgenres and walks of metal-life are welcome at this event. Make sure you rock your best metal shirt on the day in style!
This is an incredibly casual and inclusive meetup. We don't want to get in the way of professional networking events and afterparties, so we'll stick to the usual 4:30pm to 6:00pm time slot on Tuesday, March 18th. This is during the second day of the GDC summits. Location is weather dependant: Yerba Buena Gardens in last years location if it's clear or Westfield Mall Food Court if it rains (exact location will be confirmed a day or two before).

If you're in town but don't have a GDC pass, that's fine! No RSVP required, but it certainly would be nice to get an idea of how many are showing up.
