GCT, Brighton Youth Centre and Youth Investment Fund bring you a lineup of talented young bands and artists at the start of their careers.
GCT Next Gen
Gosforth Civic Theatre is delighted to present a brand new night of live music from talented young musicians from the North East and Brighton.
Starring local band The Last Time and artists Lily Mac and Isabel Maria alongside touring bands The Bluebottles and Livid from Brighton, Next Gen platforms the next generation of musical talent, giving artists the opportunity to perform in a professional, youth-focussed venue.
In partnership with Brighton Youth Centre and Youth Investment Fund and with support from Young Musicians Project in Sunderland.
About some of the artists
Isabel Maria
Isabel Maria’s quietly passionate and painfully articulate words have already entranced thousands
across the globe. The Sunderland based singer-songwriter pens witty indie folk-pop ballads
which capture the broad, winding themes of mental health, human relationships, and social
injustices. At just 17, Isabel possesses the coveted 2024 Alan Hull Award.
Lily Mac
Lily Mac is a brand new, up-and-coming singer songwriter from Sunderland. Lily has been writing and performing her own music since she was around 10 years old. She has been part of the Young Musicians Project (YMP) in Sunderland since 2021, which has given Lily the opportunity to gig all over the North East, including the chance to play at The Fire Station in Sunderland alongside the Futureheads.
Tickets free but ticketed.
