GCNaz Sports invites your budding athlete to join us for our spring soccer league. Our goal is to introduce these young athletes to the game of soccer while working on team building, developing their skills, and teaching them about what it means to have good sportsmanship with a focus on HAVING FUN!Practices will begin on the week of Monday September 22nd and be held once every week depending on your team's schedule (6pm) through 11/10 (weather permitting).
9/27 - Skills Showcase
10/4 - Game 1 (games begin at 8 and go until 12 depending on division)
10/11 - Skills Showcase (GISD holiday weekend)
10/18 - Game 2
10/25 - Game 3
11/1 - Game 4
11/8 - Championship Saturday
11/15 - Built-in bad weather makeup week*
*in the event that a week of games gets cancelled due to bad weather, we will push everything in the schedule back a week and utilize the 11/15 makeup week. We will have only one makeup week.
The cost is $70, which includes a uniform shirt, awards, and game officials.
If you have specific financial assistance needs, please email [email protected] and we'll do our best to offer you something to get your kid playing!
Please note that GCNaz Sports Soccer is a co-ed league and is a beginner-friendly league.
COACHING:
GCNaz Sports does not provide coaches for your teams. We rely on parent-involvement for coaching the teams with additional support from GCNaz Sports staff when needed. Your child's team will be coached by a parent volunteer. If you would like to be that volunteer coach, you will receive a 100% refund of your child's entry at the end of the season along with other coaching gifts from GCNaz Sports staff throughout the season. Please consider becoming a volunteer coach- NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED!
