About this Event
The Greensburg Community Development Corporation (GCDC) has been supporting Greensburg businesses and the community for 50 years!
Our mission is to advance economic vitality, smart development, and cultural integration. We achieve these through public private partnerships and community based solutions.
Since 1975, the GCDC has assisted the City of Greensburg in business development, through revitalization efforts including façade and commercial improvement grants, location support for new property and business investors, and the Local Economic Revitalization Tax Assistance (LERTA) program. We are proud that our efforts have contributed to a thriving downtown! The GCDC also plays a significant role in community development, collaborating with other local organizations and the City of Greensburg, to host Restaurant Weeks, the Hometown Hero’s Banner program, and the annual Greensburg Development Conference.
During our 50th Anniversary event, we will honor three Community Leaders for their contributions while representing the GCDC; Mr. Scott Brown, Mr. Steve Gifford, and Mrs. Ashley Kertes (posthumously). We hope you will join us in celebrating our past 50 years, our bright future, and these amazing individuals. Golden and growing!
