"Are you ready to return to Titanic?..."A viewing of the Titanic Exhibition is a great excuse for us to get dressed up and spend a day in the city. The Greater Boston Vintage Society welcomes you to step aboard when the museum opens on Sunday morning at 10am. This should be the least busy time of the day so we'll have plenty of access to the exhibits and photo opportunities. After, we'll disembark for a nice Sunday brunch. The nearby Park Plaza restaurant has a full menu and buffet till 2pm. (We're also open to suggestions of other restaurants.) Plus, Sunday mornings have the added benefit of free street parking and there might actually be some spaces available early in the day!
If you have an interest to join us, please send an email to [email protected] and we will put you on the list for updates. No commitment is needed at this time, we would just like to get a preliminary headcount so we can look into a group discount package. At this time I have a code for getting at least $5 off the $40 admission!
As for attire, we suggest 1912 winter day-wear like the passengers of the Titanic. Do remember it was a 30-degree Atlantic crossing, yikes! As with all GBVS events, there is no outfit authenticity officer, just have fun and dress as best as you can. You can view the website below and get an idea of which interior rooms they have recreated. This will be a memorable voyage for GBVS!
