About this Event
The Greater Baltimore Black Chamber of Commerce proudly presents our Political Forum: The State of Black Business, a high-impact civic and economic event designed to engage, inform, and empower Baltimore’s Black business community. This forum will feature candidates from the 40th and 45th Districts, offering chamber members and local stakeholders a rare opportunity to hear directly from those seeking to shape legislation, policy, and economic priorities across Maryland.
Hosted at the historic Reginald F. Lewis Museum, this forum will focus on the pressing issues affecting Black entrepreneurship and economic mobility in Baltimore City procurement access, equitable contracting, small business support, workforce development, and the systemic challenges that continue to hinder Black-owned business growth.
Attendees will gain valuable insight into each candidate’s plans, commitments, and strategies for strengthening the Black business ecosystem. This is not just a conversation it is a platform to ensure our voices drive meaningful, measurable change.
Join us as we elevate the discourse, advocate for equity, and unify our community around a shared vision of prosperity for Black businesses in Baltimore.
