GAZA MON AMOUR is a 2020 drama film, directed by Tarzan Nasser and Arab Nasser. It is a coproduction of companies from Palestine, France, Germany, Portugal, California and Qatar.
The film premiered at the 2020 Venice Film Festival. It was subsequently screened at the 2020 Toronto International Film Festival, where it was named the winner of the NETPAC Award for best Asian film at the festival. It was selected as the Palestinian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 93rd Academy Awards, but it was not nominated.
This event is a fundraising event hosted by Laith Zuaiter for both Friends of Gardena Cinema and specific families in Gaza who are in need of evacuating. Laith Zuaiter is Palestinian-American who grew up in the Los Angeles area and has been working in the entertainment industry for the past several years. His father is critcially acclaimed actor and Academy Award nominated producer Waleed Zuaiter who was most recently nominated by BAFTA for his work on GANGS OF LONDON.

HOW DO I REDEEM MY TICKET?
Upon purchase, ticket will be emailed to you as a PDF attachment from Eventbrite. When you arrive to the event, please show the entrance attendant the bar code on your ticket at the entrance to the cinema, either by holding up your printed version, or by displaying it on your phone or smart device. Attendant will scan it to check you in, and you'll be good to go into the auditorium!
CAN I BRING FOOD / SNACKS?
NO! This is an indoor screening. Please do not bring outside food or drinks inside the cinema. Tasty refreshments and fresh popped popcorn will be sold at the cinema snack bar.
WILL YOU HAVE RESTROOMS?
YES! Gardena Cinema's lobby, snack bar, and restrooms will be open.
MAY I BRING MY PET WITH ME?
Sorry, PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE ACTUAL CINEMA BUILDING, (where restrooms and snack bar are located).
