Please come join Madregalia!! for our New Year's concert featuring a variety of works from the Renaissance and early Baroque. The venue will be at All Saints Episcopal Church in Carmel. We will have both an evening concert on Friday, January 10 at 7:30 pm, and a matinee on Saturday, January 11 at 2:30 pm. Members of the Pastyme Consort will be featured as well on violins, viols, shawm, dulcian, and recorders. We will again be joined by a trio of sackbuts (early trombones) led by Sue Mudge, and, as a special treat, Greg Smith will enliven the concert on natural trumpet.Our program will consist of a variety of vocal and instrumental works for Christmas and the new year including major works by Giovanni Gabrieli and Michael Praetorius.
