It is the damndest pleasure to announce the 27th official Gathering South House Concert session!
10th of May…save the date!
I’m thrilled to be returning to the very roots of Gathering South and how it all began. Now that the monthly Folk Club ‘Gathering South Presents’ is in full swing, house concerts will be run seasonally which makes them that extra bit special, and what better time than in the rejuvenation of Spring!
This session marks the 5th year anniversary (albeit a tad belated) since beginning Gathering South back in the winter of 2018, so I’m ecstatic to revel in birthday celebrations with you all!!
I have one unbelievable programme of Folk artists and Trad acts up my sleeve for this one that I’m incredibly excited to share with you all in the coming weeks..you won’t want to miss!
As always, a home-cooked meal will be provided by our kind hosts with veggie and vegan options available. In order to cover food costs and maximize the funds I can offer to the musicians for performing, a donation bucket will be in the kitchen for you to donate what you can before you plate up your meal. Please remember to bring some change as it’s small aspects like these that bring a fuller community feel to these nights and ensures that they remain self-sustainable in nature.
These nights are BYOB, all we ask is that you take your empty bottles and tinnies home with you for recycling.
The home where we’ll be hosting this session is on Kenmure Street in Pollokshields and the full address will be provided on the day of the event.
