Free information session about new creative history project, Gathering Place 360:

Made By Katie Green is a small contemporary dance company based in Surrey, specialising in responding to museums, heritage sites, libraries and other extraordinary spaces through dance.
Our newest project, which is currently being developed with funding from Arts Partnership Surrey, will enable us to explore new ways of sharing Surrey’s fascinating archaeology with more people, including children and young people and those who wouldn’t usually visit heritage sites, using VR360 technology.

You are welcome to join a free information session about the project, during which you will have the opportunity to:
- watch the film on a VR headset
- see and take away some of the learning resources we have developed to accompany the film
- explore some of the approaches Made By Katie Green will be using to engage children and young people in their own creative responses to their local history.
Who is this session for?
Everyone who would like to learn more about this project will be very welcome. We have a particular interest in meeting teachers from primary schools (the project is aimed primarily at children in school years 4-6) who aren’t currently participating in our Gathering Place 360 pilot, but who might like to join us as we apply for funding to roll the project out more broadly in the future.
