Gathered Lampshades have been one of our most requested workshops, so we're delighted that Sophie & Victoria from Sew Vintage will be joining us to offer this fantastic masterclass.
Please note that this is a 1.5 day workshop with a full day on Friday (10am - 5pm), followed by a half day on Saturday (10am - 1pm). We recommend that you attend both parts in order to finish your shade with the most thorough tuition. You will be guided through all the techniques needed to make a beautiful gathered French Drum or Straight Empire lampshade with coordinating trim.
A selection of trims and fabrics are included in the price. If you would like to use an alternative Lewis & Wood fabric, our sale shop will be open on the day and we recommend that you come along to the session 30 minutes earlier to choose. You are also very welcome to bring your own fabric to the workshop, light weight cotton lawns are ideal.

All equipment, lampshade frame (approx. 10" wide at base x 7" high) and a selection of fabric, lining and trims are included. We will be in touch regarding your fabric and frame choices two weeks ahead of the workshop.
