Gateway To Clown: ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Gateway to Clown is designed for stage performers of all experience levels who are “Clown Curious”. In this 4 hour workshop we will combine our performance backgrounds with the fundamentals of clown work to create moments of magic and moments of massive failure. AI CAN’T CLOWN! But YOU can!
Class takes place Saturday June 3 from 11AM - 3PM

About The Instructor:
Corey Podell is a director, actress, and clown. She has directed and co-devised multiple award-winning stage shows - most recently "Gutterplum", "Mr. Chonkers", and "Queen of Fishtown" as well as short films and music videos. Corey is currently directing the clown show "Vanessa 5000" which will debut at Edinburgh Fringe in August 2023. Corey is an ensemble member of the notoriously riotous clown troupe, Clown Zoo, and can be seen on TV in various sitcoms where she's played the parts of 'dog lady', 'bathroom girl', and 'rude wife'.
Please wear clothes you can move in (i.e. no jeans please! comfy clothes) and of course, some high quality H20. :)
