This special community celebration brings together local St. Louis musicians, artists, and members of the regional arts community, with featured performances by the Gateway Music Outreach Community Youth Artists. Together, these performers honor Black excellence in music—from the composers who created enduring works to the next generation of young musicians carrying that legacy forward.
Through classical, spiritual, and culturally rooted repertoire, audiences will experience music that reflects resilience, creativity, and cultural pride. This concert is designed as a shared celebration of history, education, and community, highlighting both emerging youth talent and established voices from across the St. Louis arts landscape.
