Take shelter from the cold among the evergreens at Gateway Hill trail, just 28 minutes north of town. We will hike a modest 3.2 km loop in a special area: the first ever oil sands mine site to receive reclamation certification! Dress warm and pack a snack, we will have opportunity for free forest play as well. Meet at the Gateway Hill parking lot (see pin below) at 1:00, to depart for 1:10pm.
