Gateshead / South Shields Open Pairs is sponsored by Lean 2 Succeed.Two sessions for group games, 9am and 10am. The Qualifier Final will be at approximately 7pm.

Entry fee - £20 per team
Prize money for this qualifier (subject to 32 entries)
Winners - £200
RU - £100
Losing semi finalists - £40
Losing quarter finalists - £20
Round of 16 losers - £10
FORMAT:
First stage – Round Robin, 8 groups of 4 teams.
Second stage – Knockout.
Top 2 teams from each group go through to the round of 16, winners of that round to QF, then SF then Final.
Games will be 8 ends or 45 minutes.
4 bowl open pairs.
No dead ends - Re-spot jack on appropriate spot.
Choice of start time will be allocated where possible.
Score cards are drawn on the day to ensure random draw. 3 Players allowed in each team who can rotate between games.
Finalists will be invited to play in The Grand Final on 6th April 2025 at Gateshead IBC where the overall winners will receive at least £500 (exact amount depends on entry numbers across all qualifiers).
