Dean Simmons has spent more than 20 years perfecting the role of “The Garth Guy,” the world’s first and longest-running Garth Brooks tribute artist.

Born into a family of musicians in Portland, Oregon, Dean was performing with his father’s band by the age of seven. In the early 1990s, when Garth Brooks was breaking records and taking country music by storm, Dean found his calling. He studied every detail of Garth’s music and stage presence—the voice, the mannerisms, the energy—and brought it to life with uncanny authenticity.

Since debuting as The Garth Guy in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee in 1994, Dean has performed on some of the biggest tribute stages in the world, including Legends in Concert in Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Atlantic City, and on international tours. His high-energy, 90-minute tribute show has thrilled audiences at casinos, fairs, festivals, rodeos, universities, and corporate events from coast to coast.

What makes Dean’s show even more special is that it’s a family affair. His wife Kim, an accomplished vocalist and producer in her own right, joins him on stage with powerhouse harmonies and charisma, while their son Joshua brings youthful energy and musicianship to the band.
