The Categories for the 2025 Awards are:
Sports Team of the Year

To the Sports Team that has been most successful in developing community participation in sport.
Business in the Community

This category is open to any business operating in the Garstang area. This will include Sole Traders, Limited Companies, Partnerships, and any other business having a legal structure including charitable organisations.
Good Citizen of the Year

A person in the community who makes a big difference to someone else, an unsung hero in your eyes.
Youth Group of the Year

Awarded to a group with an average age up to 18 and a maximum age of 21 that provides a significant benefit to our young citizens.
Community Group of the Year

Awarded for a team who are making a significant contribution through their time, actions, talents and dedication for the benefit of the community.
Junior Citizen of the Year (4-11 years)

Young Citizen of the Year (12-18 years)

New Business of the Year

This category is awarded to any business which commenced operating in the Garstang area any time in the calendar year prior to the 31st December before Nominations Open. This will include Sole Traders, Limited Companies, Partnerships, and any other business having a legal structure including charitable organisations.
