Outhouse's Garment Upcycling Workshop, led by sustainable Couturier designer Karina Mizrahi, is a transformative experience for individuals of all sewing abilities.
Participants are empowered to revitalize old garments through hands-on learning, gaining essential skills to mend and reimagine pre-loved clothes into personalized, one-of-a-kind pieces.
With Karina's guidance and a collaborative atmosphere, attendees embark on a creative journey that blends sustainability with practical sewing techniques. Join us for a workshop that celebrates creativity, sustainability, and the art of upcycling.
Sewing machines and a variety of fabrics & haberdashery will be available for use. However, attendees are encouraged to bring their own materials along with their garment. Depending on what you hope to achieve, previous basic hand sewing/machine sewing or hot glueing skills will help you a lot in your pursuit for a fabulous, new creation.
Outhouse offers free concession tickets if you are on low or no income. We offer free entry for PAs or access-workers.
