Make the beautiful 'Molly' Skirt from Fieldwork in this garment making workshop.
Molly has no zip making a great choice for a new maker to achieve a lovely, wearable, softly pleated skirt. It has a clever concealed opening within the left pocket and a flattering soft pleats into a waistband. UK sizes 6 to 20.
This workshop is suitable for beginners but you must have basic sewing knowledge, or have attended our beginners workshop.
Please bring your own fabric for this workshop. You can see suggested fabrics and quantity needed below. You will have the option to add extra length to your skirt so also allow for this when choosing your fabric length. I would also recommend bringing a matching thread.
SUGGESTED FABRICS: Light to medium weight woven fabrics e.g. cottons and cotton mixes, linen and linen mixes, lightweight denims.
FABRIC NEEDED: 148cm (58") of at least 112cm (44") wide OR 120cm (47") of 140cm (55") wide fabric.
All equipment and sewing machines will be provided. If you would like to bring your own machine, that is absolutely fine but please let Amber know in advance.

You will be provided with a printed pattern for this skirt to take home and make again.
