This volunteer invasive species removal event is hosted by the City of East Grand Rapids and the E-GReen Sustainability Initiative, with support from the Kent Conservation District in celebration of Earth Day 2024! Volunteers will learn to identify and remove garlic mustard W**d around Reeds Lake. Please wear long pants, long sleeves, and appropriate shoes to walk through wooded areas. Bring gardening gloves if you have them.
Please meet in the EGR Public Works parking lot. Volunteers are welcome to stay the duration of the event or just a portion.
