We will be covering composting basics - the good, the bad, and the ugly critters, as well as trouble shooting.
Kristi Vasquez has been a Sandoval Extension Master Gardener since 2024 and a Bernalillo County Extension Master Composter since 2025. She has been composting in New Mexico for 3 years (successfully for 2) and fallen in love with the Bokashi Bucket Method. Her love of compost came from wanting to convert her "beach/sand" of a backyard into useful, nutrient rich organic matter filled soil.
