About this Event
Native plants are adapted to the local climate and soil conditions where they naturally occur. Gardening with native plants provides nectar, pollen and seeds that serve as food for native butterflies, insects, birds and other animals.
John, Master Gardener with Cornell Cooperative Extension, will describe some of the other benefits of gardening with native plants and will provide suggestions for sun, shade and wet and dry locations.
Learn how to support our local ecosystem and increase biodiversity!
This event will have ASL interpretation.
