Participants will explore trusted online resources, learn to identify and contact elected officials, spot online scams, use apps that support gardening and preparedness, and navigate reputable health information. Each session focuses on simple, useful ways technology can enhance everyday living—helping you stay safe, confident, and connected online.In this session, participants will learn about different types of gardening tech. We’ll go over some popular apps and explain their common features that will help you with everything from designing your garden to identifying plants and caring for them. You’ll also learn about outdoor smart systems and sensors, as well as indoor gardening devices.
This program is offered in partnership with AARP's Senior Planet. You do not have to be an AARP member or over 50 to participate; the general public is more than welcome.
