Join the Gardening Lady in a workshop where you get to make and take away your very own own sauerkraut and Kimchi.Kimchi, sauerkraut and fermented drinks are having a resurgence, and when you look at the health benefits they offer, it comes as no surprise. Fermented foods and drinks are full of probiotics, rich in digestive enzymes and abundant in minerals and vitamins.
This workshop is an experiential introduction to fermenting aimed at beginners who would like to culture their own vegetables.
Together we will make a classic sauerkraut and kimchi. You will gain an understanding of ways to enjoy fermented foods in your cooking and the opportunity to taste different ferments to inspire your own experimentation.
All ingredients will be supplied.
