About this Event
Welcome to Gardening 101!
Join us for a fun and informative event at the Charleston Farms Community Center where we will cover all the basics of gardening. Whether you're a beginner or have a green thumb, this event is perfect for anyone looking to learn more about plants and gardening. Each month we will feature a different expert speaker who will share their tips and tricks for creating a beautiful garden, and you'll have the chance to ask all your burning questions.
November's topic is a double session on Floral Arranging and Tree Basics presented by Scott Kendall of North Charleston Parks & Recreation and Robert McCombs of the Charleston Parks Conservancy. All participants will take home a small floral arrangement and a voucher for a free tree!
In addition to the guest speaker, participants will enjoy light refreshments and will have the opportunity to purchase plants at a discounted rate (part of a fundraiser to support gardens and garden programs in North Charleston). Refreshments for November's meeting have been generously donated by Outback Steakhouse of North Charleston.
