Contact us via email at [email protected], call the Garden Hotline at 717.240.6506, or visit the Penn State Extension office at 310 Allen Road in Carlisle during hotline hours. Emails and voicemail messages will be returned during hotline hours every Tuesday, April 1 – November 4, 10am-2pm, and every Thursday, May 1 – July 31, 10am-2pm. Penn State Master Gardeners provide research-based information to residents and home gardeners to identify and diagnose a variety of residential garden problems. Let us help you to have the best garden possible! No registration necessary.Penn State Master Gardeners are trained volunteers who support the outreach mission of Penn State Extension by utilizing unbiased research-based information to educate the public and our communities on best practices in sustainable horticulture and environmental stewardship. Topics include botany, plant diseases, soils, fertilizers, composting, integrated pest management, entomology, plant propagation, indoor plants, vegetable gardens, lawn care, pruning ornamental plants, tree fruit, small fruit, woody ornamentals, herbaceous plants, native plants, weeds, and invasive plants.
