About this Event
Make creative plant markers, inspirational garden quotes or simply introduce more art into the garden. In this workshop, we will paint small hand crafted, wooden garden signs that you can either take home or use to decorate the Common Ground Community Garden.
All materials provided. Limited places available, registration is essential. Children must be supervised at all times.
About the Common Ground Community Garden
Housing Choices SA’s mission is to provide affordable homes, working with others to create resilient and inclusive neighbourhoods.
Residents and staff have tended the Common Ground Community Garden at The Joinery since its creation in 2009. During this time, it has become apparent that gardening is not only therapeutic but also has been an important tool in reducing social isolation, fostering good health, promoting more inclusive neighbourhoods and supporting lifelong learning.
Join us in this workshop to harness the community spirit and let the artistic creativity flow.
