About this Event

As part of Hindu tradition, prayers to Ganesha (The remover of obstacles) are offered first before any undertaking. This will be the way to officially launch the Vedic Satsang ATX group, offering prayers for a successful group! It will be held at the Austin Hindu Temple (https://www.austinhindutemple.org)-- 9801 Decker Lake Rd here in Austin. It will be officiated by one of the Brahmin Temple priests and will be done according to proper Vedic tradition. We will be offering to the sacred fire and chanting Sanskrit prayers led by the pundit.

Please note: this will be an active temple day with other worship occurring at the time. Please dress conservatively (covering shoulders, no shorts, no form fitting clothes) out of respect for Hindu temple/ cultural norms.
