Welcoming back Gamksimoon to SBC alongside local band, Vaporizer 2 for a night of rock n roll, grunge, down-tempo and more. G̱a̱mksimoon, meaning ‘waterspout’ in Sm’algya̱x, is a rock and roll project created by Wil Uks Batsga G̱a̱laaw (Jeremy Pahl) of the Gitga'at First Nation. Performing entirely in Sm’algya̱x language, their music channels the swirling energy of the waterspout through rhythms and melodies inspired by pre-contact Ts’msyen traditions.
