Our family has been dealt the cards none of us ever want to be faced with. One of the hardest secrets to keep. Uncle Dan has been fighting the cancer fight for almost a year now. He was diagnosed with Gallbaldder & Bile Duct Cancer in Sept 2024. Uncle Dan had a surgery to remove cancer in November & has been doing chemo treatments, scans, and many hospital stays with repeated pneumonia & Broncoli Pneumonia. Uncle Dan was told Wednesday August 6th that he is given 6 months to live with or without treatment…The cancer has spread into his omentum (fatty tissue) that overlays the intestines. A rare & fast growing cancer not responding to treatments. Those who know uncle dan is a fighter since birth with his cystic fibrosis. He is stubborn & isn’t giving up. Uncle Dan has decided to stop treatment of chemo & putting his faith in god. As he likes to say “I know who is in control here, Gods got this” Because this has been so unexpected & he is no longer in remission we are in the middle of planning a benefit on behalf of Uncle Dan. We will post a date once it’s final & he hopes to see so many of his loved ones! We are asking for donations for a silent auction & cash donations.
