Child abuse is a horrific experience with potentially lasting effects. The Children’s Network of Stark County Child
Advocacy Center is a child-focused facility that
helps abused children and families access to longterm
advocacy and healthcare. This approach is
intended to reduce further trauma, hold offenders
accountable and to help children and families heal
in a comprehensive, seamless way. Over the last
three years, the Children’s Network, like many,
have faced many new challenges.
The Children’s Network served 750 new cases of
abuse in 2024. Of those, 85% involved offenders
the child knew and trusted.
