About this Event
Welcome to iCode Bellevue's Game Development Camp, where students are invited to venture behind the scenes and uncover the art and science of game creation. In this immersive camp, we empower campers to move beyond merely playing games and delve into the captivating world of game development. Our approach is hands-on, with students getting to explore a variety of digital tools that professionals use today, including Construct 3.
This project-based class will also cover using visual effects, creating easy-to-use interfaces, and managing a game development project. Students will learn to build digital assets and program them to build fun and interactive games.
Campers will embark on an exciting journey of creating their own customized games throughout the week. Each game project they undertake will start small and evolve as they master building their own digital assets and use the skills necessary to bring their game concepts to life. At the end of this thrilling week, participants will realize that crafting games can be even more fun than playing them.
