Cost: Free Join curator Diana Greenwold for a tour of our two newest exhibitions, Shifting Boundaries and Ruffled Feathers. Drawn from the museum's American art collection, these shows break new ground.
Shifting Boundaries, our first collaboratively curated exhibition, reframes New England landscape paintings through fresh perspectives, such as erased Indigenous histories and the human impact on the environment. Ruffled Feathers introduces audiences to the layers of conflict—personal, artistic, and global—embedded in the institution's most famous space, artist James McNeill Whistler's Peacock Room.
