Randy Roberts, Assistant Curator of the Midwest Museum of American Art, will present a Gallery Talk on "Overbeck Art Pottery" on Tuesday, November 5th at 11 am at Ruthmere. The Overbeck sisters (Margaret, Hannah, Elizabeth, and Mary Frances) were Indiana artists of the Arts and Crafts Movement. The sisters are best known for their fanciful figurines, their skill in matte glazes, and their stylized designs of plants and animals in the Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles.
