“Greeking Out”, featured in the Mary Ola Miller Memorial Gallery, is an exhibition showcasing artwork created by students and faculty from the Greece Study Abroad Program at Gulf Coast State College. After completing intensive two-week introductory courses in ceramics and photography in the U.S., students traveled to Greece, visiting historic sites such as Athens, Olympia, Delphi, Meteora, Pella, Thessaloniki, and the island of Skopelos. Upon returning to Panama City, they created works inspired by their experiences abroad. These pieces reflect creative growth, technical development, and individual perspectives shaped by travel—offering viewers a glimpse into each student’s unique journey. The exhibition stands as a testament to the transformative power of art, travel, and education.
Featured artists include students Blythe Dillenkoffer, Takashi Kato, Taylor Ouzts, Alberto Spirgatis, and Izzy Talkington, alongside faculty artists Pavel Amromin and Tammy Marinuzzi.
