About this Event
Stacy Kamin’s figurative art captures people in their natural environment.
Cooks in the kitchen, musicians, shopkeepers, and barkeepers
are caught in the moment in golden tones. Composed of
day to day activities, Stacy Kamin makes these ordinary moments magical.
She creates the suggestion that we slow down and look around us.
Stacy studied illustration and traditional animation at the Academy of Art
University in San Francisco, earning a B.A. in 2000. She presently
conducts classes for her alma mater through online instruction, and
locally at the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art,
Brentwood Art Center and the Kline Academy of Art.
