Our series Gallery After Dark at the Oak Park Art League is creating a space for creative community to meet, make, connect and share with fellow artists and the broader community in the gallery after dark, Thursday evenings, 6-8pm.
Create your own signature Mardi Gras keepsake inspired by New Orleans' most beloved krewe traditions. In this hands-on workshop, you'll design and craft a hand-decorated parade throw (like Muses' glittered shoes, Cleopatra's decorative cups, or Zulu's painted coconuts) or an ornate Venetian-style mask for wearing at balls and festivals.
