John Thatcher Boomer, pianist and composer for John Brothers Piano Company will be performing together with Ina Morava, artist and creator of Wooden Fish Art Studio who recently collaborated with JBPC as an artist-in-residence for the group's sold-out SFJAZZ residency.
Morava's innovative inkwash paintings capture both the personality of the players and the underlying emotionality of the music itself. To further explore this concept they will stage a live duet of light and sound, featuring projected inkwash painting accompanied by solo piano arrangements of the music that inspired the series, bringing this unique process to a gallery setting within the vibrant vintage aesthetic of Galleria Boheme.
