The Christmas season is busy and loaded with fun and celebration. However, we don’t want to lose sight of the true reason we celebrate — the birth of Jesus. Luke 2 tells us that Jesus’ first bed was a manger because a stable was the only safe place available for his family. We’re providing a space for dads, granddads, and uncles to bring their kids, grandkids, nieces and/or nephews to build a reminder of Jesus’ love for us — a life-size manger.Join us on Saturday, December 6, from 9 – 11AM in the Gallatin Student Building for this free event, where men and the important kids in their lives in grades 3 - 5 can spend intentional time together as they create a tangible reminder of Jesus’ love for us. More than just a craft, this manger becomes a powerful object lesson to help men step up as spiritual leaders, using it to spark conversation about Jesus throughout the season.
Breakfast will be served, and all tools and supplies will be provided. Come ready to create lasting memories!
An identical event will take place at Hendersonville. Please register for the location you’d like to attend so we can have the appropriate supplies waiting for you.
