Ladies, let's celebrate female friendship with a Galentine's Day Snowshoe Hike out at Muskegon Luge. This is a beginner friendly event and ladies of all ages are welcome. Snowshoe rentals available at Muskegon Luge. This event is dependent on snowy conditions. We will meet by the warming tent by the payment window of the lodge where you can purchase your trail pass and rent snowshoes if you don't have your own. From there, we will head out on the 2.5k White Night Snowshoe Trail which is the only lit snowshoe trail at Muskegon Luge making it perfect for an evening adventure and a great trail for beginner snowshoers. Afterwards, we can hang out in the beautiful fire garden for hot cocoa and light socializing or head out for a second loop if you want. I have it on good authority (my 14-year-old) that Muskegon Luge makes some of the best hot cocoa around or you can bring your own thermos of cocoa. This is a state park so you do need a recreation passport for your vehicle. A trail day pass is $10 if you don't have a season pass for Muskegon Luge and snowshoe rental is $10 if you don't have your own. Please let me know if you have any questions.
