About this Event
This social Sip & Stitch session is an invitation to slow down and spend quality time with your bestie, mum, daughter, or a friend who loves making.
It’s also a lovely opportunity to meet other women in your community who love crafting and making.
We’ll gently guide you through Sashiko, a traditional Japanese stitching technique, as you make a hand-stitched cocktail coaster or a playful bag charm to take home.
No experience needed — this is about enjoying the process and the people you’re with.
Whether you’re completely new to stitching or already enjoy crafting, this workshop is designed to feel easy-going, social and mindful.

Sashiko is rooted in repair, care and finding beauty in simplicity. We’ll share the technique in a modern, approachable way — focusing on mindfulness, creativity and connection rather than perfection.

Slow Stitch Sashiko
Info: You'll be guided through the art of slow and mindful Sashiko stitching technique
Assemble the coaster or bag charm
Info: You'll use simple stitching techniques - either by hand or on a sewing machine - to assemble your final piece.
Take Home Your Beautifully Stitched Item
