This beginner-friendly watercolor workshop will give you the Join us for a beginner friendly watercolor workshop. Come on out to the Art Center to learn how to paint stunning galaxy scenes in watercolor! Enjoy a relaxing afternoon blending creativity and community as you paint. The workshop begins with a group lesson on how to paint the galaxy background, a group lesson on pine tree foregrounds, followed by individualized, one-on-one direction.Beginner friendly

Unlike most painting workshops, at Owlfeathers Watercolor we do not rely on copy-after-me style instruction. Rather, we believe everyone is capable of creating unique artwork when taught the foundational techniques and skills in small group lessons, and then encouraged and supported by one-on-one individualized instruction.
Students will view paintings from at least 4-5 artists, and sometimes even prior students showing different ways the same technique or theme might be expressed through watercolor. Students are able to draw inspiration from provided artist examples, a personal photo, or their own imagination! As a result, no two paintings will be alike, as everyone finds their own artist's voice!
