The Galaxians bring their technicolour disco live set back to our stage and curate a bonus club night with CHAT (Live) & Babyschon (DJ) who favours sleazy sounds, connecting the dots between low-slung no wave, EBM, slinky new beat, italo disco & house.---
Galaxians
Galaxians serve up futuristic disco & house drenched feel good dance tunes. Their live shows go from strength to strength and they come to us fresh off the stages of prestigious festivals such as Bluedot, Beat-Herder and Tramlines (to name just a few!) A party band par excellence, acts from dancefloors past and present are recalled in Galaxians’ rubbery boogie style that is instantly recognisable in it’s irresistibly groove-driven backline and pumped up vocals.
Their principles are a large part of what makes their output and dance music as a whole so vital – commonality of experience, singular moments shared by a crowd, and rhythm as the best medicine.

CHAT
CHAT are Sunderland based synthpop duo Jordan Miller and Beccy Young, who have been quietly crafting infectious 80s inspired bangers since 2018 and are now ready to unleash them and get people dancing! The duo are inspired by current pop queens and the many electro duos of the 80s. Using synthesisers and drum machines to create a sound reminiscent of Stock, Aitken and Waterman and Trevor Horn produced hits.
Having performed as alt folk singer-songwriter This Little Bird for many years, Beccy has relished the chance to lighten the lyrical load, writing songs about dancing and good times and finally unleashing her inner pop diva. Multi-instrumentalist and producer Jordan has performed in many bands from the North-East music scene (Vandebilt, Hyde & Beast. The Lake Poets) and also ran Motorhouse Studios in Sunderland city centre. Growing up hearing tales of clubbing in 80s Sunderland from his dad has most definitely influenced the Chat sound.
