The Galax Fire Department Motorsports is hosting our Annual Fireman's CARNIVAL, Demolition Derby, and Figure 8 Race Fundraiser at Felts Park July 9th-13th! Cole Shows Amusement Company of Covington, VA will be bringing a 15-ride Carnival this year. Carnival gates open at 5pm and rides start at 6pm and run til 11pm nightly. We are so grateful to Cole Amusements for partnering with Galax Fire to continue the Fireman’s Carnival tradition!
Race opening ceremony begins at 6:30pm on Friday, July 12th. Featured car races will include Crazy 8 Race, Backwards Race, Circle Race, and Sack Race where the drivers are blindfolded and their passengers tell them where to go!
Demolition Derby opening ceremony begins at 5:30pm on Saturday, July 13th. Events will conclude on Saturday evening with fireworks at 11pm!
Concessions will be provided by Galax FD Ladies Auxiliary.
