Galactic Family Day

Transport your family to another universe during Galactic Family Day. Join Artspace and partners for an extraterrestrial day featuring exhibitions by local artists, hands-on art making activities, artist demos, and live performances. Meet and shop with our 30+ studio artists while enjoying cosmic snacks.

Admission is free but registration is required. Donations are always welcome!

Family Day Experiences

• Explore the Fluxum’s Frolic exhibition with work by Eric and Morgan Grasham and additional exhibitions by local artists
• Create your own Fluxum, a small charismatic alien to take home
• Enjoy an out of this world acrobat performance by Cirque du Vol
• Learn about the stars and participate in a solar viewing with Raleigh Astronomy Club
• Take part in artist-led demonstrations
• Meet and shop with our 30+ studio artists
• Purchase your favorite 3-D printed characters with Wake2Print
• Enjoy cosmic snacks while supplies last
• Check out the Artspace On The Go van
• Sci-Fi costumes are encouraged (No scary masks please)
