Theatre Prometheus invites you to join us for an afternoon of tea, treats, and camaraderie in support of our upcoming production of Galatea!

This year, instead of hosting a traditional fundraiser, we’re leaning into our love of themes and puns by hosting a tea party: Gala-tea-a. We will convene at Montgomery Cultural Arts Center to enjoy bottomless tea and snacks, give away raffle items from local artists and businesses, and watch a short scene from Galatea. All proceeds from ticket sales will go towards Galatea, an Elizabethan-era Queer joy romantic comedy in which two women accidentally fall in love.

$25 tickets include unlimited tea, a tray of baked goods, and one raffle entry. Tickets for a 4-person table are also available for $75.

Theatre Prometheus is an arts organization focused on producing Queer and Feminist plays that put compassion, courage, and care at the forefront here in the DMV. We enkindle exploration and revolutionary empathy through practice, performance, and the nurturing of our person-first artistic community.
